Feral cats are different from stray cats. Stray cats are usually the merchandise of a person’s irresponsibility.

Irresponsibility might be defined in two ways when it involves strays: Dumping a cat to defend itself and/or neglecting to spay and neuter their cats.

Stray cats are often timid, but are often easily tamed. Wild cats are cats that are born and grow on the streets. Cats rarely interact with humans directly and are very difficult to tame.

Because feral cats are difficult to tame, thus making them undesirable indoor pets, there are many rescue organizations that are dedicated to the trapping and spaying and neutering of feral cat colonies. Time and time again, these organizations trapped the cats, had them sterilized and neutered then released them near where they were originally found. Then, they are responsible for providing food to the cats.

Stray cats are everywhere. You can find stray cats in the countryside, roads, plantation areas, parks, alleys, even in buildings that are no longer used or cared for. You may catch a glimpse of them, but you most likely won’t be ready…
